Saratoga Spirit Cycles. The line consists of three models — the 630, 660, 690. All Spirit Cycles have a steel base with travel wheels and bi-directional pedaling. The digital display shows pedal RPM, time, distance, calories and pulse.
Special Features:
- High Torque. Standard on the 660 and 690. Longer level arm for upper extremities (51/2" vs. 31/2" for the feet) and special internal sprocket ratio give the upper extremities a mechanical advantage, requiring less force to move pedals for those who have weak legs. The overall advantage is approximately 2.35:1. One pound of force on the arms will move 2.35 lbs. at the feet.
- Low Impact. Featured on the 660 and 690. Provides a smooth, fluid motion; arms and legs do not turn in phase. For every three upper-extremity revolutions, the lower extremities turn twice.
- Tilting. Comes on the 630, 660and 690. Base adjusts for most comfortable position for arm and leg lengths. Folds down for storage.
Spirit 660. Upper and lower body ergometer can operate upper and lower body independently. Includes one set of footplates and an ear clip for pulse reading. Fits individuals 6'0" and under. Weighs 113 lbs. (boxed).*
